FastTrack Received 1st Application

Montgomery County’s Pike & Rose Project, a redevelopment of the former Mid-Pike Plaza strip mall, with developer Federal Realty Investment Trust, was officially submitted as Maryland Made Easy’s first FastTrack  application. Construction of the mixed use project will begin by mid-2012. This development is part of a larger county Transit Oriented Development (TOD) initiative and is their top economic development priority. State agency teams involved include MDOT, MDE, MDP and DBED.
